Ferhat Kamil Satıcı, borned in Kilis 1973, live and works in Mardin.  He co-founded “Videoist” a video art initiative with Hulya Ozdemir. He uses the nickname “YeniAnıt”, at art shows.

Yeni Anıt” is translated “New Colossus” from English to Turkish.  It is a book name  mentioned by author Paul Auster’s novel so-called Leviathan.

Serkan Taycan

After his studies of engineering, Serkan Taycan completed a master-class on documentary photography at Nordens Fotoskola, Sweden. He completed his MFA degree in Visual Arts at Sabancı University, Istanbul and in Photography at Aalto University, Helsinki. He concentrates on the ever-changing relationship of urban and rural spaces, consequences of these changes, future projections and the people who are affected by these processes of transformation. He works primarily with photography and maps, also engages with walking. His work has been exhibited in various biennials and venues, among which: Venice Architectural Biennial, Istanbul Biennial, Helsinki Photography Biennial, Sinop Biennial and Thessaloniki Photography Biennale as well as St.Petersburg Russian National Centre of Photography, Malmö Museum and Photographic Center Northwest Seattle. Taycan is a member of RecCollective. He lives and works in Istanbul.

1983 born in Diyarbakır, lives and works in İstanbul.

İnsel İnal

Insel Inal is a graduate of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Faculty, Ceramics Department (1993). Inal holds degrees in art from Marmara University, MFA 1993 Thesis: Fluxus, PhD 2002 Thesis; “The Relations Between Production and Consumption in Contemporary Turkish Art and the Problems in These Relations” He organized several projects which included interdisciplinary organization and panels. He became president of the Interdisciplinary Young Artists Association in 1996. Inal has joined many solo and group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His ceramic sculptures have been included in various collections His architectural ceramics and sculpture is represented in private and public collections.

İnal, recently participated in International Sinop & Çanakkale Biennials. Inal is the Head of Ceramics Department, Kocaeli University Fine Art Faculty and he also teaches “Contemporary Art and Photography” courses in Mimar Sinan University and Yeditepe  University for undergraduate and graduate programs.

Dilan Bozyel
